Want to make your candle last longer? Here are some friendly tips to help you enjoy it even more:
1. Trim the wick before each use!
Keeping the wick nice and short—about 5mm—helps your candle burn evenly. This way, you'll have less soot and won't waste wax by burning too quickly.
2. Let the wax melt all the way to the edges.
When you let the wax pool reach the sides with each burn, you'll avoid that tunnelling effect, where the middle burns down but leaves wax on the sides. This keeps your candle lasting longer and looking great!
3. Burn your candle in intervals.
Instead of leaving it lit for hours, try burning it for 2 to 4 hours at a time. This way, you'll get an even burn and avoid overheating, so you can enjoy it even longer!
4. Store your candle with care.
Keep it in a cool, dry spot away from direct sunlight and drafts. Proper storage helps maintain the wax and keeps the lovely fragrance lovely!
5. Don't let it burn too low!
Stop burning your candle when about 1cm of wax is left in the container. This helps prevent the jar from overheating and ensures you get every last drop of that delightful scent!
